GROUP EMPOWERSMENTALLY ILL THROUGHEMPLOYMENT

A PIONEERING group is giving people diagnosed with a mental illness new career options.

The not-for-profit community organisation RichmondPRA is helping to create gardening, cleaning and maintenance service jobs specifically for people with a range of mental illnesses through its program in Warwick Farm.

EnterPRAise leading hand Michael Cancino, 40, was diagnosed with mental illness at 19, and said being involved with the program has changed his life.
