Flourish Australia Board Announcement

Tue Apr 11, 2017

The Flourish Australia Board announced today that Pamela Rutledge has notified her intention to retire as the organisation’s Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2017.

The Board thanks Pamela for her leadership of Flourish Australia and for being such an outstanding CEO of Flourish Australia (and RichmondPRA) since 2012 and Richmond Fellowship of New South Wales prior to that.  The organisation has benefited greatly from her long and varied career, and her vision and commitment to delivering high quality supports to people with a lived experience of a mental health issue, their families and carers. Under Pamela’s leadership, the organisation has grown significantly whilst continuing its strong commitment to valuing and incorporating the contribution of people with a lived experience of a mental health issue, delivering quality services, and service innovation.

The Board thanks Pamela for providing such long notice of her intention to retire. We are delighted that she has agreed to continue in the role until the end of 2017. This will give the Board opportunity to undertake a recruitment process that provides for a smooth handover prior to Pamela’s departure.
