One in five Australians aged 16 to 85 experience a mental illness in any year - with depression, anxiety and substance abuse among the most common disorders.

In recent years, there's been growing awareness of the impact of mental illness on families, workplaces and the community in general — and some great work is being done to deal with the issues that arise.
