Summit to get youth in the right headspace | Bankstown - Canterbury Torch

A SUMMIT focussing on the mental health of young people will be held in Bankstown next Tuesday.

Canterbury-Bankstown Councils’ Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) and Headspace Bankstown's Youth Reference Group (YRG) are working together to combat mental health in a summit that will include motivational talks from young people with lived experiences and psychologists, workshops and activities that promote mental health.

Headspace Bankstown’s Jennie Dang said the guest speakers would include the author of Mum, I Wished I Was Dead, Adam Schwartz and the 2015 Australian Youth Representative to the UN, Shea Spierings.
