Major projects & funders

We strive to deliver services and programs that make a real difference in people's mental health recovery journey. For over the last two decades, we have been a major provider of community mental services for both state and federal government. We acknowledge and thank our funders for their continuing support.

Some of our major projects

Resolve Program

We partner with NSW Health and Social Ventures Australia on the Resolve Program to reduce the likelihood of readmission for people with a mental health issue who have been hospitalised for an extended period. The program includes residential periodic care with 24/7 support and outreach for in-home care; in combination with specialised case management and an after hours phone line.

Primary Care Psychiatric Liaison Service (PC-PLS)

This model is an initiative by Western Sydney Primary Health Network (WSPHN) and Flourish Australia designed to support general practices to provide comprehensive care to people in a primary care setting.

National Psychosocial Support (NPS)

This aims to support people with severe mental illness and associated psychosocial functional impairment, who are not more appropriately supported through the NDIS.

Women and Children Program

Caring for a child while dealing with a mental health issue can require additional assistance and we can work with these women to find flexible work and a safe place to live or simply build confidence in their parenting ability.

Housing and Accommodation Initiative (HASI)

We provide a way for people to break away from long term institutional care and transition into living independently in their community through the HASI.

Young People’s Outreach Program (YPOP)

We run youth services focused on meeting the everyday needs of 17-25 year olds who are dealing with mental health issues – from finding accommodation, to becoming work-ready, maintaining healthy interests and relationships.

Headspace

We run headspace centres in Broken Hill and Bankstown where we champion early intervention for young people aged 12-25; when the right support at the right time can make a world of difference to getting on top of mental health issues and back on track with their lives.
