Flourish Australia is taking to social media in support of this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) theme #BalanceforBetter with a campaign that honours remarkable women connected to the organisation. Over the years, many of these women have been part of making positive progress toward improving the lives of those with a lived experience of a mental health issue.
The Women Advancing Flourish Australia campaign recognises their unique contribution, and serves as inspiration and encouragement for women in every workplace.
Standing with women everywhere in the push for gender equality, the campaign will tell the stories of women whose achievements reflect Flourish Australia’s long-standing commitment to inclusion, non-discrimination and gender equality.
In the lead-up to International Women’s Day on March 8, many inspiring stories will be shared on our social media channels.
Flourish Australia is committed to ‘getting the conversation going’ in the broader community around mental health; letting people know that they can take steps on their mental health recovery journey and making sure they know that Flourish Australia is ready to support them to do so.
The campaign looks beyond the big picture achievements of women in society to acknowledge how powerful and life changing each woman’s unique contribution really is, both in the #BalanceforBetter toward gender equality and in advancing social awareness and acceptance of mental health issues.
Please join us in celebrating the contribution of women as we #BalanceforBetter.
