We’re proud to share that Panorama has been awarded the 2025 Mental Health Matters Media Award, recognising excellence in media projects that thoughtfully and responsibly address mental health.
Established in Redfern, NSW in 1996, Panorama was created by a team with lived experience to promote mental health recovery through storytelling. The magazine supports contributors throughout the writing process, empowering them to share their stories in their own words.
Each edition showcases real recovery journeys and links readers to practical resources on physical health, housing, employment, and social connection. With over 35,000 readers annually, Panorama is a valuable tool not only for people living with mental health challenges, but also for support workers, families, and caregivers.
Winning this award is a testament to the power of lived experience and the importance of storytelling in breaking down stigma. We celebrate our amazing team and extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shared their journey to inspire others.
